If it costs us the test, yes. If not, no .
I just want us to win. By hook or by crook. Entertainment comes second. It's not T20.
Never understood this. People say it about football aswell but we watch it to be entertained.

I'm not bothered about football, winning or losing as long as it's entertaining.Never understood this. People say it about football aswell but we watch it to be entertained.

CorrectThe purpose of Bazball isn't to be entertaining, the purpose of Bazball is to win, which it has largely achieved. The extra entertainment is a bonus.
That's not everyone's view to be fair, discussion has been had before and was plenty who put results way ahead of performance, to the point that some may as well have just checked the scores on their phones rather than bother attending.
Who is apologising for Aussie batting? The only person who I've not heard criticise it is Mcgrath and he's just keeping quiet about it.This is good cricket. The Aussie apologists seem to forget that decent scoring is in good part what makes people turn up. My Grandad was at Headingley the day Bradman scored over 100 in each session of a test way back in the golden era (handwritten scorecard the family treasure). Can’t imagine folk who were there yesterday waxing lyrical to their grandkids about that morning session. They also seem to forget it was purely our corinthian approach to the first test that meant there was a result they benefitted from. Frankly I hope we absolutely stuff them over the next two days as they’re already going home as one of the luckiest touring sides I can remember. They’ve brought little to this series other than belligerent mediocrity.
Have a read of the comments thread under Geoff Lemon’s article in the Guardian. That suggests the answer is pretty much all Australian cricket fans. I do realise I have walked into ‘paying attention to the internet’ there…Who is apologising for Aussie batting? Yeah that's fair enough, I'm only following it on here, BBC website and TMS so my view is a bit limited.Have a read of the comments thread under Geoff Lemon’s article in the Guardian.
