Generally you either get dropped for good and you're gone (KP, Gower, Hoggard, Robin Smith) or injury/age catch up with you (Cook, Swann, Strauss, Botham, Flintoff, Vaughan, Gooch, Prior, etc etc etc).

I wasn't arguing that. Just the semantics that you can launch a ball in the air but if it slips out as you do it, it's then not out.
