Mark Ealham's son running out Steve Smith. You know, I live just for moments like this.

Fuck off is that not out. Nonsense.

Bairstow broke the stumps before he'd got the ball from what I could see. Very very tight call but correct decision.

Not watching it currently if the bails are knocked out their groove before the ball hits it’s not out unless you pull a stump up with the ball in hand.

The more I look at it, the more I think it's out.

Slightly sloppy keeping and poor umpiring for me.

Regardless it's another absolutely cowardly performance from Australia.

One half of one bail came up, it wasn't anything like clear cut and there's a very strong argument to say it was still out even then.

If it's Josh Hazlewood rather than Steve Smith then I reckon the third umpire gives it out.

Sounds like the 3rd umpire has given Smith the benefit of the doubt which doesn’t exist in cricket.

McGrath was making out on TMS like it was clear as day

So tight to call, I'd say it's so tight it's a 'give the batsman the benefit' call for the third umpire.
When I first saw it I thought 'not out' as Bairstow had clearly hit the stumps with glove before he'd got the ball. But the more I see it it the tighter it looks.
If it was Joe Root and not Smith I'd be saying you can't give it.

Smith gone now anyway, top edge skyer and a good catch running back towards third man - ish by Bairstow

To be quite honest, I wasn't certain what the complete law was...
I thought that if the bail is disturbed but actually BOTH ends of the bail must leave the grove, which means there's a bit of a debate whether Bairstow's left glove started to disturb the bail fractions before the entered his right glove, but STILL it seemed that the right end of the bail seemed to be still in the groove... So it's not out!
