The CHRISTMAS Thread

pigs in blankets flavour crisps are just smoky bacon repackaged.
I also feel a need to try the turkey gravy crisps.
last year, or the year before, mrs jelly bought 2 packets of christmas tree flavour crisps. You read that right. And she wanted to go back to get more....

Is your wife called Holly?

Well that's very big of you to admit it.

I'll concede that the Christmas Pudding ones in Tesco may have crossed a line, but nowt strange about Pigs In Blankets and/or Turkey Gravy flavour...

Nope. She is christmas mad though. Goes nuts decorating the house. always wants me to join in, yet because everything has to be "just so" i run away to avoid the arguments.
For the past few years I have had the great fortune to impersonate @darlowolf64 during the first weekend of december, which has been a convenient excuse to be out the way. We're away that weekend this season. Might take the dog for an exceptionally long walk or something!

Au contraire, these were extremely sausage-y. A flavour profile that divided the office.
interesting. They lidl, or aldi? I will need to try both them and the gravy ones.
walkers did a spicey sausage flavour crisps years ago, and I was heartbroken when they were withdrawn. Similar for toasted cheese.

We will have to swap, mine can't stand Christmas, miserable bugger

Best crisps I ever had were BOVRIL flavour. My sister in law bought me a dirty big box for Christmas.
After 4 packets whilst watching American football (the series with Eurythmics doing the theme music) my finger tips were covered in the stuff and I loved licking it off.
That was a late edit: I could see it being Fnarred!

Sainsbos mate.

Tesco did mince pie crisps a few years back as part of a three course crisp Christmas Dinner. They were surprisingly passable.

Aka smoky bacon and roast chicken flavours repackaged and sold for more.

Did you not read my whole sausage-y post!?!? 😂

And actually, it's gravy flavour more than your classic roast chicken rebadging.

Waitrose have put their Christmas sandwiches out already, apparently.
They realised Machin and Tredders were already slamming the stollen, egg and chips and were missing a trick.
