The CHRISTMAS Thread

I have mint sauce with all meats.....I also like Yorkshire pud with all meats

Going to risk heading to Ikea in Reading today to start my Christmas shopping. Last time I went there I was stuck in the car park trying to get out for 2 hours (the issues with their car park has made the national news a couple of times now).

Wish me luck.

You're a damn fool.

You're like the retail equivalent of Steve Irwin.

If you choose to go to Ikea at any time, you deserve no wishes of luck.

I know a Jinky's smaller than Dec but he doesn't live in a doll's house.

I’m taller then Dec. He’s a veeeeeeeery smaaaaaaaall maaaaaaaaan.

At Ikea now. Hell. On. Earth.

Ventured into the Bridgnorth Wetherspoons today...

Their festive menu features a 'Pigs in blankets, brie and cranberry sauce pizza'. The dirty bastards.

A damning indictment from someone that could walk to one...!

I have been to the Ikea...even went on my own once. I was like the SAS....knew my mission, got to the area via the quickest route, products grabbed, out and killed 5 people

Sausage and Bacon Pizza with a shit fruit sauce. Doesn't sound that festive

A new contender has just entered the ring:

Too much frangipane, not enough mincemeat.

These, however, are bostin:

Iced mince pies are too sweet. we have home made ones with a crumble topping instead. they rule.

That's what I liked about them. A really sherberty sharp sweetness, but plenty of spiced mincemeat.

I didn't like the heavy sweetness of the frangipane of the other ones, found it too sickly.
