The Chasing Pack - GAME OVER AMIGOS

Yeah Derby were a strange mix last night. I still don't rate em and have to be honest and say, with the players at his disposal Mr Warnock has done a magnificent job. I do not know of anyone who would could have got 86 points with that group especially after 4 straight losses around the holiday period.

No doubt Cardiff have had a brilliant season and old Colin was right when he said they could only improve after we beat them 3-1 last season. He also said we couldn't improve. 50% hit rate there Colin....Still better than Gary Madine has managed.

On Madine, I'd like to apologise to Pierre-Michel Lasogga for calling him the least effective lump in the Championship.

Madine didn't win many headers, and I laughed at one he DID win as he was falling over at the time.

£6m for that :icon_lol:

£6m is incredible business on Bolton's part.

You can take the 'm' out of your post, YW.

Did anyone notice the bring Pilkington on lamp the ball up the field he gets a pretend shove and falls over. Great tactic well it worked against us.

He didn't have to pretend anything against Wolves, Coady pushed him.

It was a push, it was a penalty. I agree with Mark.

I definately dont but accept that in the modern game people buy penalties from such light touches. My point is it is a tactic that they use consistantly.
I respect we see things differently but IMO I am right  (on this occasion).

It was a foul but the moment he felt Coady touch him he went down. Coady just did what he did every time v Zohore. Just that Zohore stood up and tried to win the ball. It looks a lot worse when he goes down as Coady was expecting him to back up. No doubt it was a penalty though.

Thankfully Madine took it.

With two hands. While pushing him.

Both were definite pens.

LOL that was quite witty but IMO it was pathetically soft the second was a penalty IMO
doesn't matter anyway, it was given, and worth it to see Warnock make a fool of himself.

Obviously we have different opinions and excuse me for using your quote but how I see it is:-

First bit (bold) is what I think.

Second bit supports my thoughts that the player has been brought on to do exactly that (fall over that is).

He probably was just waiting for Coady to put his hands on him so he could go down and it wouldn't surprise me if he'd been given the instruction to try and do that when Colin sent him on. It does seem to be a tactic of theirs to try and win free kicks, they do it all through the match.

A penalty was still the right decision though. It was certainly more of a pen than ours was on Saturday (not that I'm complaining).

Just seen the footage of the the Middlesbrough pitch invasion because they made it to the play offs... [emoji19]

To be fair Di Matteo signed him.
