Everton 1st: I defended Doherty but he did give the free kick away and then Boly's header was poor. Like i'll blame Jota later for giving the ball away i think Jonny has to take some of the blame for his pass across field because that's how we conceded possession.

Everton 2nd: Doc probably could do better but Baines pass was clever, Neves should not let be caught ball watching, Bennett is too tight and Coady has to be out to stop Richarlison using him to screen Patricio.

Leicester 1st: Jota for giving the ball away, Jonny could get closer but not sure he could stop the cross. Coady did slightly misjudge the flight of the ball and Doc is in the wrong place. His body shape is all over the place and that's why he heads it the direction he does.

Leicester 2nd: Jota again for giving the ball away, Coady for not closing the shot down. He gets 2 yards closer and blocks the shot completely. Can't blame Patricio for me, weight was going the other way and the deflection did quicken the shot up in real time.

We have to stop conceding sloppy goals, obviously most goals are scored because someone makes an error but we have made real basic mistakes for each goal that we should not be making. Stop those and i still think we'll finish top 10.

Last time I looked this was called the blame game thread. A chance to debate the 4 goals we shipped in 2 games. I put my thoughts uo. Others disagreed. Back to the sensible stuff. I worry that Neves and Moutinho don't have enough cover. I am concerned at Costa being anonymous. I fear that the decision not to at least give Doherty competition could cost us. I don't think there is as big a gap between Ruddy and Patricio as we thought.
