If course they are just the two errors that come up when you Google Patricio mistakes.

It's good he doesn't make many. You lot know my quirks and plenty give me dogs abuse for it. However I reckon Patricio is right sided and that any mistakes or weaknesses this season will go via the left.

No point castigating me now! We need to see a few games first! I will be watching! Just like i was one of the first to say Ikeme got beaten from distance too often.

As also part of the goalkeeper union, a lot of what a goalkeeper does was/is instinct. Nowhere else on the pitch compares to it, imo.

Please don't bang on about something that isn't true Cyber (much like the cricket thread) and I'll nip this in the bud now, professional 'keepers don't have a side. In fact in all the years I've coached and watched pro coaches (you used to have to do a keeping section on the UEFA B course) I've never heard of 'a side' unless it was proceeded by a number.

As BMB has said it's about committing late or forcing you opponent to commit late, sorting your feet out so you don't have to dive but when you do staying as light and upright so you can get your mechanics right and propelling yourself from both sides. Unless a keeper has injured knees or hips which provided weakness on one side you are unlikely to see this (Hart and Forster are the players most noticeable, both have had an injury which has damaged them in this way).
