I wouldn't be surprised if Wolves went back for Jesse Lingard, I doubt Derby will go back for him they struggled to fit him in.

I don't want us to be leaning on loans as our primary policy. We're a solvent club with plenty of space freed up in the wage budget this summer, with one of the best stadiums outside the top flight, one of the best training grounds outside the top flight, big support and we have loads of momentum behind us. We shouldn't be struggling to find quality permanent signings. I want Wolves players in a Wolves shirt.

Wouldn't Jesse Lingard fit into the equation the same as Benik Afobe. Unlikely at this time to get games at Premier League level, loan out, sign permanent deal at Championship level club.

Back in for Lingard? We were never in for him in the first place, the whole rumour started because someone saw a player who looked like Lingard at Compton (Simpson IIRC).

The Forest STH I know was talking to me last night about Chuba Akpom and how we should go in for him to replace Sako. Says he's big and quick with the potential to score plenty. Can't say I've ever seen him play personally.

Looked a handful at the City Ground (his debut IIRC). Get Benik to have a word with him.

Quite like the bits I've seen of Akpom but I think he's a bit of a make do and mend solution as a left winger, he's a striker really. Would much rather us sign a specialist. Again I don't think Wenger is particularly minded to sell him at the minute - he holds on to young players for a long time generally and Afobe's success might make him even more reticent to be getting rid in future - which means a loan, and I've already said my piece on that.

Good shout on Gayle. Very similar to Dicko though, I think Ken will go for a bigger guy. He's always going on about the need to have a different option on the bench to change a game

Chris Wood from Leicester City, he has to move on this summer.

I don't think Wood is a bad player but I just don't see how he fits for us now. We want mobility up top.
