The 2014/15 Promotion Push Run-In Thread

It's ok, it keeps us in touch with Watford for automatic promotion :D

Definitely a four team league now, with two spots to fight for. We can now forget Forest.

Still think it's fucking fantastic we are still in the running for automatic promotion with only a few games left

An automatic spot is unlikely at this point, but not completely impossible. Which given the horror show that was November is a truly remarkable accomplishment. At that point we looked more like relegation candidates than promotion ones, so hats off to KJ. I said during that dreadful period he had to show what he was made of and he has answered the bell admirably.

The odds of us getting into the top 2 are the same as Blackpool staying up: mathematically possible but simply not going to fucking happen.

These last minute goals recently are doing my head in!

Interesting stat watfords record against top 6 sides is won 0 drew 2 lost 6

'Squeaky bum time' for us, right to the finish, I reckon. Jammy Ipswich have ruined my weekend! We need to 'dig-in' (like we did on Friday) for all of our remaining games. We need all the luck in the world, too, if we are to make the play-offs. I, too, would be much happier to see Ikeme back and we need the rest of the squad to remain fit. Derby, Norwich, Ipswich and Brentford need to drop some points. It's not solely in our own hands, is it?

Ipswich are not a problem as we have to play them, we just need Brentford to drop more points.......asumiomg we score as many as them after of course

Ipswich winning is frustrating but the Brentford draw is a massive bonus, didn't see that coming at all. At the end of the day we can't do anything about the other teams unless we're playing them. Probably need 4 wins from the last 7 to sneak in there but who knows?

Yesterdays results mean that is now unlikely that Nottingham Forest will make the play offs. We just need to keep on going, maybe 4 more wins will be enough to get us in the play offs. But in this crazy division anything can, and usually does happen.
