Guo was right behind me, he loved the game - totally into it and didn't sit down the whole match. He has no clue about football though - I did enjoy him conducting the cheers at the end.Guo attends a match in pre season , having not been at a match for a few years , and suddenly transfers start flowing .
He attends another match last Saturday - two injuries to two strikers ( the only strikers we have ) and suddenly Costa is on a plane to Wolverhampton .
Coincidence ? or Guo is suddenly very interested in Wolves .
That's not how you do an ACL.Both Nunes and Guedes found that the fitness levels required over here were a lot higher than where they came from - both were struggling and blowing hard at the 60 minute mark of matches initially .
I'd say Sasa was not much different . There is also the physicality aspect that he would have to get used to .
Anyway - it's all a matter now .
We already are with this. It's big news in the football world. We all have to hope he's still reasonably fit, and he hasn't lost his edge.Jeff will be happy, it’s going to build the brand worldwide, if we sign him we’ll be on the sports pages everywhere
Looked like that when we were watching live. He crumpled in a heap immediately afterwards and didn't get up for ages.Haven’t seen it back and barely remember what happened but my guess is he landed awkwardly. Rotation or hyperextension of the knee at landing is classic.

To be fair he's only 33. Vardy is 35 and still doing it. Granted Vardy is PL match fit, but Costa doesn't look out of shape in any way. As someone else said if you still aspire to play the game you keep yourself fit at a minimum. Right off the bat he should be able to play for 25 to 30 mins.
His team are shocking in fairness. That never helps. What i'm trying to say (maybe badly) is 33 isn't an age when you go out to pasture, particularly if you've kept your self in shape. Not sure this is true. Absolutely shocking so far this year.
Lot on his plate this summer - His manager looks lost, few players sold, some don't want to be there and his wife dragged the good name of Vardy through the mudNot sure this is true. Absolutely shocking so far this year.
Mr Moutinho a shining example of thatHis team are shocking in fairness. That never helps. What i'm trying to say (maybe badly) is 33 isn't an age when you go out to pasture, particularly if you've kept your self in shape.
Not an ACL but Neto with his injury. Looked nothing as he walked off and yet took a year to come backZyro walked off too despite having his leg basically destroyed by that Franchise shithouse. Hard as nails.
Exactly! There's a lot to be upbeat about this signing imo, as long as he passes the medical.Mr Moutinho a shining example of that
What ever happens its so much better than signing Grant Holt to cover the forward positionsExactly! There's a lot to be upbeat about this signing imo, as long as he passes the medical.
Could be the same methodology though. Look, he's played for loads of clubs, he must be good...What ever happens its so much better than signing Grant Holt to cover the forward positions
Sagbo from the same era.Could be the same methodology though. Look, he's played for loads of clubs, he must be good...
Grant Holt is always shorthand for shit loan/short term striker signings. We've actually had worse. Mike Small in terms of lack of ability and Marcus Bent for sheer "how on earth do you think he is suitable for this level" bafflement, just to name two.
Is he available?Steve Claridge was good.
