Summer 2022 Transfer Window

I was big on the sign him/swap him for Traore noise previously, to avoid what looks like another Vitinha, however I have utterly cooled on that now, due to his last performance.
 
Anyone got any info on Puig?

One thing that’s frustrated me in recent weeks, is we have been linked previously with so many players the ‘top clubs’ are now looking at, and we could’ve got them without smashing transfer records.

Ofcourse, depends on the accuracy of the reports, but bloody grates me. Ironically, both those examples at Centre Mids, a position that STILL needs looking at ..
 
Kessié just wasn't interested in signing for us, financing the deal or being willing to do it on our side wasn't the issue.

Wasn’t aware of that. Was just thinking about players linked with. As mentioned that’s based on the sources but fair point
 
Olmo is one that feels we really lost out on, signed Podence instead if rumours are said to be believed.

Exactly the kind of profile Palace go for now, like Olise and Eze making some noise downstairs with youth on his side.

As I've said before any less than 20m would be giving him away imo...world Cup winner, young, English, been ripping up the Championship for Sheffield, also played well for Swansea.
 
I think our only chance of getting north of £20m is if Sheff U go up. If that's the case the pressure on them from their fans to sign him means we can inflate the price quite significantly.

I don't think there's any uncertainty over Neves's contact.

I think he'll be sold and I wouldn't blame him for moving to a CL big club. He'll always be a legend here.

It's how we spend that money that concerns me. I can see us giving João a new contract and we have Cundle to improve on his sole performance so far.

Donk can be sold too.

If the manager doesn't see him as a CM then that's all irrelevant. He didn't previously and if Spiers has accurately represented him in his comments this week, he still doesn't
