Summer 2022 Transfer Window

Maybe they will up the figure with potential earnings? As in bonus's etc.
Seems mad really that a guy who is a specialist in his job gets rejected for a work permit. He's not coming to pick fruit (not that there is anything wrong with that), he is not going to be signing on and getting a house with benefits paid for by the UK tax payers.
I'm sure that the clubs law team will be confident of getting through the process's. It's not cheap to fly him here on a private jet!

It's a scandal as using the points system for us mere mortals he's comfortably over the points threshold.

Agreed. I've had to deal with a middle eastern home office, and i found you firstly needed someone on the inside, and secondly you had to grease a palm to get it sorted.

Love listening to Tim Vickery. I don't know half the players he talks about in Sth America but you genuinely believe he knows his stuff, is very thorough and gives valid reasons as to why he believes player X or player Y will be a good fit or a hit/miss in the PL or La Liga etc. Certainly puts several of our UK based pundits to shame.

He knows his stuff. Inclined to say if he is saying it is the truth

He's not a transfer insider he's an expert on South American football. He wouldn't know more than David Ornstein who reported the alleged figure I quoted.

Let's be honest, we managed to successfully appeal for Lage to get an exemption so the chances of us being unable to get one for someone who's had 10x as much success in the game should be slim.

I would suggest he has a ton of contacts in SA to know enough to be confident in what he is saying is true.

Not that it matters in this case now

Well it is true, if is wasn't Costa wouldn't be a free agent. Just that the reason was nothing to do with his wages as that part was agreed.
