We could probably pay Anderlecht to cancel his loan if we really wanted him back. It would have to be in January though
Being clever after the fact doesn’t make you right.I did say it was a serious mistake to send Silva out on loan. Unfortunately I have been proved right.
Harry hindsight is always the best trader in town.I did say it was a serious mistake to send Silva out on loan. Unfortunately I have been proved right.
Depends what the contract says. I'm sure they would have a no recall clause if they were smart. We could probably pay Anderlecht to cancel his loan if we really wanted him back. It would have to be in January though
The thing is, having silva how he has seen him wouldn’t be the answer. He needs first team football to develop. If we had kept him he would arguably be third choice striker. It’s just unfortunate what’s happened to SasaDepends what the contract says. I'm sure they would have a no recall clause if they were smart.
They do have a no recall clause, that's why we'd need to pay them.Depends what the contract says. I'm sure they would have a no recall clause if they were smart.
Most season loans will have a recall option.Depends what the contract says. I'm sure they would have a no recall clause if they were smart.
Was that announced at the time? Missed that bit. They do have a no recall clause, that's why we'd need to pay them.
Fairly sure it was a season long loan with no recall. Was that announced at the time? Missed that bit.
There's normally an option to recall / send back with penalties involved. The exception is where there's an option like Coady or Traore2. They've not paid a fee, so I'd be surprised if that's not an optionWas that announced at the time? Missed that bit.

The only loan we have at the mo with no recall option is Coady's I think.
Exactly! If Costa is anywhere near match fit we take him every single day of the week. Absolutely no way a club of our size and position turns down an opportunity to have someone like Diego Costa playing up top.
It's not in hindsight, I said it twice, weeks ago. It’s easy to say in hindsight that loaning Fabio was a mistake, but it was absolutely the best thing for him and his career. He is going to come back a different player.
