Summer 2022 Transfer Window

I’ve heard a rumour Scott Sellars has been campaigning for dogshit pie to be added to the half time menu. Pass it on.

It was Shi's idea, Sellers has just been told he can take credit for it.

Wolves are reportedly among clubs monitoring Athletico Madrid's Geoffrey Kondogbia. Diego Simeone sees him as a key player but the club will listen to good offers if they arrive in the summer.
@GoalEspana

Source is a bit shit so not going to get excited over nothing, but he'd be an excellent signing for our midfield. Proper defensive midfielder but can also play in defence. Actually has full international caps for France, but switched his allegiance to Central African Republic. He's played regular football for Athletico Madrid, Valencia, Inter Milan, Monaco & Sevilla so has excellent pedigree.

29 years old, though - and he's moved for some big fees before, so I don't see it as a particularly good signing in terms of making loads of money on him in the future. We need this kind of player, though.

The league table supposedly does not lie at this stage of a season. But have we made progress in the last two seasons? Have we a better brand or identity? Have we a better squad? I dont think so and that is where we need to improve this summer

Aberrations are common in sport. As things stand I think were as likely to finish 8th again as Leicester were to retain the PL in 2017!

Anybody saying Athletico hasn't got a fucking clue.

File this one under clueless twat.

The h should only appear if the o is not present and you are referring to a team from Bilbao.

I am of course familiar with what ever it is that is upsetting you, but for the rest of the people what is the actual issue!?

Apparently Podence wants to leave. Reliable source but second hand info to me.

Whether that means he actually will or not who knows. Not sure who in Europe would want him at the fee required to get our money back.

Remind me what we paid

We'd get that for him wouldn't we?

Where would it come from?

He's not done enough to attract attention from anyone more successful than Wolves so that probably only leaves lower Premier League clubs with enough money.

Think he'd fit in better at a club that played in more expansive fashion but his career stats don't scream that he's ever likely to be the man to build a team around. Could see him looking alright for maybe Leeds or Brighton but not sure he's got the work rate for the former and the latter don't often seem to spend much.

I can only assume he wants to leave because of the PL/England rather than Wolves (unless he’s got ideas well above his station). He won’t got to and Elite club and as far as I know, non elite teams don’t have any money. Only hope would be one of the big Portuguese teams I guess.

On a seperate note, let’s just say his “bruised foot” might not actually be the case.

His issue might be style rather than standard?

Newcastle would probably bid, maybe villa as well, just to grab one of our “stars” off us to weaken our chances next season
