Summer 2022 Transfer Window

Are they?

Wolves fans would be placated if we signed a 20 year old Chilean midfielder with 0 caps and hardly any first team games behind them? I don't think so.

Cundle doesn't really have any first team experience at any level. Next season he'll be much nearer if he goes out on loan.

Just my opinion, but getting in someone who has proper first team experience, even if it's only 20 games or so, is preferable to having to use players who've only really played PL2.
 
There are still rumours floating around about us being interested in André Almeida. Someone of that profile, similar to Chiquinho, would be a good signing. Moutinho is only contracted for another year and Neves/Nunes could leave at any time if the right club comes in so it's not like a young player would be condemning themselves to years on the substitute's bench if they signed for us in this window.

Someone I'd have liked for us to go for would've been Nuno Santos as he had a really good season at Paços de Ferreira and had an outside shot of forcing himself into the Benfica squad but he's gone off to join Ben Bender at Charlotte FC.

Someone mentioned Jordão earlier. He's shite. Santa Clara have a few decent players, he could genuinely struggle to get in their team. Nice gig he's got living in the Açores for a year on a Premier League wage though.

The right player could cover CM as well. If you don’t want a big squad versatility is highly desirable.

4 will do for now. Forgive my lack of knowledge but can you still do one month loans? Cundle could be getting experience and come back if we need him.

That's my point, we have young players who need to play and go out on loan so bringing in another young player is counter productive.

They need to compete and be better than João during the year.
 
Month loan would be pretty pointless anyway, may as well send him as we only need to go until November and then he'll back just after because of the World Cup break

Nonsense man, Marcal played before them regardless of injuries!
 
I hope we are seriously in for Ramos but are just quietly biding our time because we know Benfica want to finish their CL qualifying first before letting him go.

If we match any bid from Newcastle and Southampton he'll surely come to us because or the Portugese connections, and also Mendes likely steering him here.
 
Forest have bid 1 mill for Boly (from John Percy). We've rejected it.
