Summer 2022 Transfer Window

Forest have bid 1 mill for Boly (from John Percy). We've rejected it.
So The Bion managed to find the article, copy and paste it and write an accompaniment, all whilst you typed a dozen words :ROFLMAO:

Sell Boly then you need a replacement, which will cost more, which doesn't seem to make a lot of sense to me. Toti is fine as 4th choice, Mosquera tbc

If we let him go and get a replacement it has to be someone with a decent amount of experience, not another youngster.

Kilman aside all our other defenders are 21 and under. Boly the exception. So we need someone with an older more composed head in case Kilman goes down.

Unless we have a decent younger but experienced CB to come in, it seems pointless to sell him for 1-3 million.

The only reason we'd do it I reckon is if we wanted to shift bolys wages. The price needs to be right as well.

Obviously we need a replacement for him, but for me, he's not the player he was and you don't know which Boly you're gonna get if he does play.

Why will it? Bolys probably one of our higher earners, sell him and get someone in for around that fee on a quarter of the wages and it makes sense.

Let's say we move the 1m to 3 and he's on 50kpw. That's about 5.5m pa. The new player will get let's say 20k so for 4m we've got to sign a player at least as good as Boly to be our first choice reserve. It's possible, but not probable. Look what Liverpool want for Phillips or what Diop went for, I'd take some convincing that either are better.

We wouldn't even look at either of them though would we as it's not our style. We'll get someone via Mendes for pence on the pound.

I'd sell Boly for anything over £2.5m. Keep Yerson, Toti and worst case Dendoncker as backup until after the World Cup (really not thay many games away) and then recall Sanderson if needs be / doing well. Boly isn't getting many minutes this year for us, and is definitely past his peak, sadly.

We should be selling Dendoncker and buying an actual footballer.

Add a Traore into that bin with Cutrone and Bonatini. Just fuck them all off as nobody is paying for them.

I don’t see the value in selling Boly for pennies as he’s still a good player if only for the odd game.

A striker without doubt is needed as is a midfielder.
