Summer 2022 Transfer Window

What 'abuse'?

You're imagining it.
i think its harder now with Social media Dan. i was a season ticket holder in the Old Northbank, before it was made 2 tier.
he used to get loads for not passing forward, the crab being his nickname, he got a fair bit on the old Mol Mix.

but then I remember Bully getting loads of stick including Boos for missing chances against Notlob at Molineux.

Bully of All people

Wayne Hennessey: also well liked and home grown. Obviously refused to play towards the end of his time here (and later apologised) but still, he only got stick when he played badly.

By the way how does sentence two tally with you calling Boly a cunt and saying you hoped he never played for us again because he had the nerve to talk to Albion players/staff after we lost to them last season?
not much difference really, not defending my actions nor the actions of others, as I said its a lot harder now social media is evil and vicious, if it was not for the Bar I would not be on it i hate it.

people hide behind there social media accounts, to give out abuse and it matters not to them.

there is a prick in Codsall I still want to meet face to face one day

Man City's Wayne Hennessey?

I will add, I enjoyed watching him the weekend. Completely different player to the young kid I saw last time, he's tough and aggressive now and he worked his absolute bollocks off. Being honest, I'd rather have kept him than signed Guedes but you can't turn down that money for a bloke who's out of contract in 18 months and isn't signing a deal.
But would you have rather kept him and not signed Nunez?

Or wrapped him for 17m plus guedes.

For an unproven top league player, we have done bloody well there. I would’ve liked to of kept him, but the above to points for me indicate great deals.

You’re too late for that prick in codsall, DW has moved

Fantastic piece of business by Wolves. I'm with the majority and was hoping he'd stay here and prove himself in the PL, but that fee, it's mental!
You just have to sell at that price, especially with him not wanting to sign an contract extension.
Let's go buy a FB, CF and maybe either another CB or CM for cover.
Edit: I'm sure i read last week that MGW would be going to Forest if we got his replacement in before the end of the window. Maybe on the Athletic.

That is made up bollocks, it didn't happen. Midlands Today just made a piece to suggest it did. There were groans, not boos

He IS a good player and I'm very much in the "keep him" camp too, but £44.5m (however unlikely the add-ons) for someone with 18 months left and not even one full season in the EPL is bonkers.

after my mental health issues around 12 months ago i am a far different character. I nearly lost everything including my life.

I am a different person now a bit more chilled and relaxed.

He and Nunes don't play in the same position so it's not really a like for like, obviously I'd rather have Nunes.

I'd probably do the 2nd deal, but I don't rate Guedes particularly highly.

I was of the same opinion, because we'd battered them but missed a host of second half chances. Kenny says otherwise.

I don’t think this means we buy anyone else btw. Reports today suggest we bought Nunes as the deal was too good not too, and we knew we’d get big money for our better players in the future to make up the difference later on if needed. This is just that, MGW wasn’t going to sign a new deal and 35m is massive.

So was I. It wasn't
What there was were a lot of day trippers who bought tickets to see us play Liverpool, so the atmosphere was shite.
I was there too, and I remember boos, he was going through a bit of bad spell at that time (would be interested to have that confirmed though) as you say there were a lot of day trippers there, so a good chance that the crappy response his missed chances got came from them rather than "real" fans.

I was in the North bank for the game against Bury at home which we won 4-2. (97ish i guess)

Two blokes in their 30s behind me me were constantly giving Bully stick for missing a couple of chances, like relentlessly, pair of pricks.

He finally scored (1 of 2 i think) and i couldn't help but have a little dig at them, and i turned around to them. The one bloke just full on punched me on the nose 🤣

I was only a greasy haired 15 year old.

Not ideal.

If we are going down the 4-3-3 route we don't need another signing in that position anyway. We probably don't even need one if we play 4-2-3-1 unless Adama leaves.
