gutted, it does confirm what I was told by someone close to him, I was just hoping he would decide to see how the season went.

I can't deny I'm not slightly gutted we're selling him but that is a very good price, especially if he wants to go.

If we now go and sign a really good forward then I can't really grumble too much.

To be honest, I'm surprised they're still in for him when they've got Johnson, Lingard, Awoniyi, Dennis and soon to be Maupay.

I don't really see how they get Johnson, Lingard and MGW into an XI without moving away from their wing back system. Johnson isn't going to be pleased if he's binned out the team as their 'golden boy' and Lingard is surely nailed on week in week out.

I had hoped this season he would really breakthrough for us but that sort of money is too good to turn down. Particularly as we're quite well stocked in the position he has been playing.
