Summer 2022 Transfer Window

That is made up bollocks, it didn't happen. Midlands Today just made a piece to suggest it did. There were groans, not boos
There were both. More groans than boos but to say there were none is quite simply wrong.

We need a striker though, I don’t think this makes us any more likely to buy one. Hopefully at least a loan for someone before the end of August though

He and Nunes don't play in the same position so it's not really a like for like, obviously I'd rather have Nunes.

I'd probably do the 2nd deal, but I don't rate Guedes particularly highly.
Not saying it’s a like for like, but if you had to sell MGW to get nunes, you would is much point.

With MGW going and nunes arriving, we are stronger for it

A great striker for Wolves would be Braga's Vitinha.

30M release clause. Guy is a panzer.

there was a video showing MGW chasing the ball all over the place, and winning it inside our own box to stop a Goal Scoring chance and statt an attack, he then sprinted forward to join in.

the comments bordered on disgraceful from some of our so called Fans
In the ground he got great applause/cheers for doing what you've described and rightly so. Are you saying that a video of that very specific 10 seconds of action received abuse?

Percy reporting it's £25m upfront, £10.7m of very likely add-ons then further more ambitious add-ons.

But we could have just not signed Guedes and signed Nunes is my point.

Guedes has got a much better pedigree and is proven at a much higher level than MGW. 11 goals in La Liga last season for Guedes.

We have seen players flourish in the Championship and not step up plenty of times before, the risk is all on Forests side on this deal and at that price there's nothing you can do if he wont sign a new deal. His value at Wolves will never be higher.

Take away the possibility that we somehow needed to sell MGW in order to recoup the price of Guedes or Nunes; if a club offers 35m+ for a totally unproven player (at Prem level), you have to take it. We'd be silly not to.

We can get mad about it if/when MGW has a better season for Forest than Guedes does for us, not before, IMO.

I’m not sure on how anyone can be annoyed with the deal. It’s absolute fucking madness.

even if MGW has a better season than Guedes, it still makes sense for us to sell MGW now given his contract situation and refusal to sign another.

Fantastic business. Guedes can play his position so we've made a profit and gotten a more proven performer.

MGW might turn out to be brilliant (in the right role and team), but it probably wasn't going to be with us.

I described him the other week as a Poundland Foden and nothing I've seen this season has convinced me otherwise.

Seen top players come in from Spain and be useless over here. With the same regularity. Willian Jose scored more than 11 in La Liga and he is one of the worst centre forwards I've seen since Robert Taylor.

It's a good deal for us and Forest are overpaying so you can't moan at that, especially when his contract is running down and no indication he is going to renew. I get why wolves have done it, I was just saying in an ideal world I'd have not signed Guedes and kept Gibbs white.
