Summer 2022 Transfer Window

No moutinho in the "welcome back from international duty" tweet. The longer we don't hear anything the more likely it is he won't sign imho

Yeah you’d have thought if he’s staying he’d come back same time as Ruben too

We were linked with David Carmo a few weeks ago weren't we? He's going to Porto for €16M.

He's not a Wolves player as it stands (unless a new deal was signed and not announced).

Accounts is jot my greatest strength, but i have seen Fosuns acvounts and issues with Debt etc, how much of an impact is that?

The Athletic are saying we tried to sign 18 year old midfielder Darko Gyabi from Manchester City, but he picked Leeds Utd instead.

Struggling to get the kids over the line as well as the first team signings then.

Without wanting to off too much at a tangent, that piece about Guo suggested that China doesn't want to be investing in football much anymore, so I wonder if that's why Jeff keeps banging on about eSports - to deflect away from the football bit

There's no doubt that 20 mins against Leeds and 20 mins against Chelsea showed there's a player in there. Elements in other games too, but I've not seen a player bottle challenges like he does since probably Rohan Ricketts. I can't have that, but accept I might be a bit of a footballing luddite. For as shit as Hwang is I'd rather have him trying like the League 1 player he is than someone like Trincao

I completely agree. The bare minimum I expect is effort, it's why the way people used it to applaud the likes of Edwards used to wind me up.

Not that complicated, he's just a tool.

We tried to sign him when he was at Millwall in 2019 and he chose City

If we'd have signed an 18 year old from City everybody would have moaned he's not 'oven ready' (fucking hate that phrase) and we need first team players. Moaners gonna moan though.

Tbf Southampton have just signed an 18 year old from City for £10m so I imagine he will go straight in their first team.

Seems £25m underpriced though…

At least the time between announcements gives them time to do it well.
