If Barca don't want Adama, does that make it more likely that he'll sign a contract with us? Given that Barca was the one club he really wanted to go to
Haha.....he got you thereI bloody hope not.
He certainly did. A fine fishing trip for Andy.Haha.....he got you there
Ergh. Sounds thrillingWas told today by someone who should be a little itk that the Summer is about moving players on with big contracts and getting younger players in on cheaper deals. Looking to bring 4 in. It wasn't Jeff so please take as passing info on and note cast iron fact.

Wasn't there talk recently that we were having talks with Moutinho about a new contract (or did I dream it)?.That's Moutinho gone then.
Neves? Semedo? Silva? Who else have we got on a 'big' contract? It's a bottom half of the league strategy at best that, but wouldn't suprise me.
I really wish I could shake this downer I have on the club. Still really pissed off that we were flying then the world collapsed on itself with Covid, the John McGinley of the flu world.
We’ve struggled to get anyone in who can do a job let alone the same job. A recipe for decline.Should say he wasn't saying it in a negative way, just that there is a view that we have/can get players doing the same job for less. Time will tell if there is anything in it and if there is whether we have/can
I guess an example could be Toti. New contract (I'm guessing £25kpw) Saiss and Boly probably on double that. Not saying he's on the same level or ever will be, but a hypotheticalWe’ve struggled to get anyone in who can do a job let alone the same job. A recipe for decline.
Fair point although I’d have thought that if the manager was of same opinion he’d be playing him now. The difficulty will be replacing one of the most effective midfield partnerships in the league over the last 4 years.I guess an example could be Toti. How often has that ever worked?Should say he wasn't saying it in a negative way, just that there is a view that we have/can get players doing the same job for less. Time will tell if there is anything in it and if there is whether we have/can
