Anyway, three things:

1) I wouldn't get too caught up on pronunciations, media get them wrong all the time let alone your man on the street. I assume Radio WM still call our Moroccan man "Remain Size".

2) Concentrating too much on them and insisting on proper accuracy is as bad as the other way of not giving a shit at all. If you go round talking about "Luish Figooo" people are going to look at you as if you're a weirdo.

3) I know next to nothing about Trincao so grateful for any pointers on what style of player he is. I don't watch La Liga any more, not that he seems to have played much for Barcelona.

I do agree with this. But WM really piss me off going out their way to get it wrong calling him Jim-MAY- nez. He ain’t fucking French!

Trincao played all of 13 minutes against us.

But from the bits I've seen he's an inside forward, very left footed but I've only seen him play on the right.

Likes a nutmeg and isn't afraid of taking folks on. Same build as Corbeanu, tall, lean, fairly quick but deceptively strong.

He looks a real player to me.

I've not seen a huge amount of him but I'd say this is fairly accurate. Much more of an IF than a winger - think Ilicic from Atalanta type of player.

This was his first goal for Barca I think a few weeks back...he's been starting to get more minutes recently
