Michael Owen never hit 20 league goals in a season.

I'm still most concerned about RWB if Jonny is earmarked to play on the left. I've watched all our pre-season games bar Stoke and nothing has changed with Doc.

He must be showing something for the coaches to have such faith. Lets see.

Personally, he had a great season going forward last year but was still Doherty when it came to positioning. Could better coaching help him? Can he learn that at his age? He is now an international footballer so you would hope so. I would love to see him add better defensive ability to his game and prove many doubters, including me at times, wrong.

Well Jota was out top scorer last season and for much of the first half of last season Bonatini was a foil for our IF's despite his goals. I think Jiminez will bang in a few but hopefully he will create space and time for others like Jota, Costa & Cav to score. Bonatini does worry me though hes just not the same player and I don't think he will offer anywhere near enough if Jiminez gets injured. Should that happen I would prefer a fluid front 3 of Jota, Costa and Cav with Leo on the bench.

The club have made it quite clear that they aren't interested in Silva and that he doesn't fit what we want.

Not really enough to judge on his finishing yet. Had two chances I can think of so far where his finishing/compusure has been called into question, should've done much between with the one he blasted straight at Pickford last time out and then today one rattled into Schmeichel's legs but that was a more acute angle where pretty much anything on target was going to hit Schmeichel by default.

he had two very close shots off the bar today, has been making a lot of good runs, and has yet to go missing.

in the first game he had a few bad touches at the start and shoulda done better against pickford, but bumping this thread from his first two performances is incredibly unfair and nonsensical.

He was looking for the layoff against Everton and had to change his mind quickly, just ended up as a snapshot.

Jiminez will be fine, we have nobody to back him though as Bonatini is never going to be a goalscorer at this level by the look of it.

Jiminez played great for 30mins. Jota and Costa were woeful which doesn’t help and then Nuno thought bringing on Bonatini would be a good idea.

I’m very impressed with Raul. Certainly not the issue in my mind.

Jiminez looks to be a quality signing but if gets injured, Bonatini is not the answer up front. Just like Doc, I don't think Leo is PL quality.

Find out when the current back ups get their chance. Jota and Costa not scoring is an issue but so far we have managed to ride that out by being solid at the back (bar 58 seconds v Watford).
