The point is that you could have employed virtually anyone in January and they probably wouldn't have relegated us. The point of changing managers was to improve things, not make them worse. Not that I ever pine for the prospect of watching his football every week but I doubt Iain Dowie would have relegated us. Or Stuart Gray. Or Paul Jewell. These are not good managers.

Only a fucking idiot could have taken us down from there, of course we found one.
