Snooker

Absolutely. Kyren ground it out but ultimately Murphy payed too well.

But..... continuing our mockery of him earlier, I saw someone elsewhere mention he once took a teddy bear on the Weakest Link and pretended like it was alive.

U wot m8?

24 hours after beating Judd Trump 5-3, Stuart Bingham loses 10-0 in the final of the world Grand Prix to Neil Robertson.

Not very often there's a whitewash in a final.

The good news is that I think his semi-final win knocks Ali "Brexit" Carter out of the top 16.

Jack Lisowski fails to qualify.

Joe Perry also knocked out and that's him retired.

Jackson Page made two 147s in the same match. Never been done before to the best of my knowledge.

Bingham hasn't qualified, knocked out by Michael Holt. First time he's missed out since 2010.

Stephen Maguire also out.

Disappointingly it looks like Ali Carter is going through to the final round. Played like absolute shite in the morning session I watched earlier but got away with a 4-5 scoreline.

Dominic Dale also out and also now retired.

I always liked him and his quirkiness.

I haven't checked if this is genuine and this year, but oh dear if so.

Dave Gilbert through 10-9 after being 5-8 down. Great stuff for him to make sure he's at the Worlds. He only started practicing 10 days ago, and I'll no doubt see him in the club practicing on Thursday afternoon when I go in.

Can't see many upsets but I reckon Carter will grind down Ronnie. And Brecel is bobbins nowadays.

Yeah Luca basically gave up when he won the Worlds. Might not have a card in a year or so when all that money drops off.

I hate Carter and he was awful in the qualifier I watched him in vs Ian Burns. Hope he loses every frame the fucking prick.

Also, Wakelin has had a good season but I think Robertson is back to good enough form to beat him. Could be a tight one though.
