I’ve finally seen the penalty from yesterday. It’s a shocker. Absolutely staggering that VAR allowed it.
I know. Otherwise we'd all be millionaires. But we also can't rely on beating Manchester City, or Spurs, or Arsenal etc every time we play them.Whilst true, you're never going to beat all the teams you expect to beat, or lose to all the teams you expect to lose to. Swings and roundabouts.
Yet you seem offended nobody agrees with you.I know. Otherwise we'd all be millionaires. But we also can't rely on beating Manchester City, or Spurs, or Arsenal etc every time we play them.
It's hardly a revolutionary point I'm making.
We're not relying on it though are we? Every manager, player and fan knows they have to take the majority of their points from the clubs around them.I know. Otherwise we'd all be millionaires. But we also can't rely on beating Manchester City, or Spurs, or Arsenal etc every time we play them.

So you agree with me? I'm pleased we had this chat. We're not relying on it though are we? Every manager, player and fan knows they have to take the majority of their points from the clubs around them.
Look, you made a very similar point yesterday on the match day thread. At the time, I put it down to the heat of the moment and left it at that. I was a little surprised that you then repeated pretty much the same thing again having had the chance to sleep on it. To be clear, YOU stated not once but twice, that a result against a top club 'counts for nothing' i felt on both oaccassions that was an OTT remark so responded as such the second time of asking. I simply put things into context and felt the need to mention your tendancy to over react in situations like this because that is clearly relevant. Its a pattern of behaviour that I felt worthy of mention. So you agree with me? I'm pleased we had this chat.

We, as a club, have suffered more than most this season (I think) from poor refereeing and even worse VAR decisions. The only apology we've had was for the non penalty at Old Trafford (cost us a point)
The decisions against Luton, Newcastle and yesterday haven't and won't get an apology.
It's hard to say how many points they've cost us as you don't know how a game may end up.
Although you could argue:
1 point v United (penalty would have been last kick of game)
2 points v Luton
2 points v Newcastle
1 point v Sheff U
Back foot is over still. And Sá off his line tbf.
And Sá off his line tbf.
Unless I'm misremembering how that rule works. Possible.
