Rugby World Cup Japan 2019

I think the crowd might be a little bit into this. The cheer for the award of a penalty after Japan were defending five metres out for a couple of minutes almost took the roof off.

Think our goose is cooked here unless Japan start getting nervous in the last 5

Nah. While it is still only one score I think you will come through in the end.

That is a game-saving tackle possibly. Japan were over the hill and gone.

This is so canny by Japan. One more set of the scrum and they might be able to just kick it out.

Oh my God!!!!

Brilliant

But what the fuck did the Irish flyhalf do there? Surely he heard the gong? And he kicked it out - madness.

No complaints there, Japan superb. Glad to come out with losing bonus point in the end.
Should be ok to get out of the group with the bonus points even if Scotland best them.

Cracking game from Japan. The sheer pace of the game seemed to sap Ireland's strength and they like to fling the ball around which is great.

There is a ton available here for South Africa if they want it. God alone knows what New Zealand will do to Namibia. It could be brutal.

Namibia seem to qualify for every World Cup, but they have taken some hammerings in their time ( e.g. 142-0 in 2003 against Australia).

Their record is P 20 L20; the San Marino of Rugby Union.

They once scored a try against NZ and after the match the try scorer went into NZ's changing room for a beer.

Two good games tomorrow.

Georgia v Uruguay could go either way, and then Wales v Australia is going to be a MONSTER of a game. Nervous already.

Georgia won easily.

Wales Australia is an absolute humdinger. A little scrappy in places at times, but a SERIOUS test match. For me, the Australian 7 is a lucky boy to still be on the pitch

Wales have looked a bit ragged in the last 10 minutes

Momentum with Australia, Wales just need some territory

Wales managing this very well after being under the cosh for so long
