Relegation run in 22/23 ** Now a Wolves free zone**

Grim reading looking at the ins for that '20/'21 season.

Only really RAN for first team, Toti for U23s/loan. Marcel, Sarkic, Hoever, Semedo, Fabio, Willian. Vitinha was first signed then too.

Next season quite arguably the worst because only real first team players brought in were Sa, Mosquera and Ciquinho in Jan (Trincao and Hwang loans).

No wonder the squad is sinking, its been stagnant for so long.

I can't have this Marçal praise. Rarely has my heart ever sank so much when a player merely received the ball. That's it then, end of attack.

Marcal was OK for 2m, not a great player but he did provide some solidity in some games early on. Towards the end before he left his presence in the 11 was disappointing given the other options he was picked ahead of as he was so bad on the ball.

Marçal had the best left foot we’ve had since Douglas, he just rarely ever got in positions to cross. When he did they always genuinely good, IMO.

He was okay. Bit of a diet-Saïss for me.

Better than Neto?

I'd take Ruben's left foot over Marçal, he was shit on the ball.

Not yet, for me.

I saw every single one of Marçal's Wolves appearances and if there were more than three "good crosses" (one would be for Ashley Young's stunning finish I guess? Well, effectively that was a cross to no-one, so...) I'd be surprised.

I've seen Mo Camara put a good ball in more than once, he was fucking dreadful.

You realize his crossing is the only thing I picked out, yeah?

As I say, he was fine. Bit of a moron but I've seen far, far worse. I'm not shedding tears that he's gone, but I certainly think his crossing was weirdly overlooked. C'est la vie.
