Relegation run in 22/23 ** Now a Wolves free zone**

I think he's their best option. He could be in the unusual situation of getting sacked if they stay up and keeping his job if they go down

Must immediately improve against Villa (won 5 of their last 6) and United (desperately need to start winning again as they've dragged themselves back into a fight for a CL spot).

Can't see it.

Popping 50p on Forest winning the next 2 games

That was the angle I was going for

(Posted from a drab office in Milton Keynes that I need to visit because I'm shit a gambling)

I’d rather them go down as that means we probably won’t. Don’t really care about the £8m. For one we’ve not exactly been mugged off out the deal as it is and were happy to chuck around stupid money on Mendes clients/clubs for mediocrity/garbage, so £8m is chicken feed compared to what we’ve wasted elsewhere. Also means we might give him/them less money in future.

Cutting your nose off to spite your face but after their ridiculous spending and transfer policy, the manager and a decent chunk of their players being massive dicks, the “rivalry”, their fans, their owner. It would be glourious if they went

£27m - Guedes
£35m - Silva
£12m - Cutrone
£71m - Total on players who will never play for us again

£42m - Nunes
£38m - Semedo
£20m - Collins
£50m - Cunha
£150m - Total on players we've overpaid for.

That is horrendous mismanagement of funds.

Genuine question, it's shit but wouldn't most PL clubs have a similar list of shame?

Is it just par for the course to some extent...having plenty of misses as well as the odd hit (don't think we've had much of the latter for a few years)?

Some would, on the other hand some above us have never paid those types of fees for players.

Brentford record signing cost them 13.5m, Brightons is 20m.

Yeah, even poster boys Brighton have the odd dud here and there.

People used to big up Leicester's business but they have bought a hell of a lot of shite since they won the league (as well as some good players).

Semedo wasn't £38m either!

Leicester business has dropped off a cliff since Rodgers got his total control

Other than Dawson and a few other cheap punts I don't think we've made a signing that you'd call an unqualified success since Pedro Neto*, and obviously with his injuries it's difficult to say what sort of player he'll be next season. Podence I guess you could say given we'll presumably get close to our money back and he's at least scored a few goals, even if he is a horrid little scrote.

*A signing that I'm sure you'll remember I was 110% in favour of

£30m is the fee that we are actually paying for Semedo I believe
