I don't want There's May to be prime minister. She is
I don't want Trump as President he is!
I don't want many things but have to accept them.
Reality is the country has changed.
Remain voters can complain about it. They can object to it. They can despair of it. They can't change it.
So I repeat. How can we move this forward together? Brexit will happen. How do we achieve it so the 52% are happy and the 48% feel they too have been respected?

There has to be some common ground

So you'd be OK with a second referendum even if you didn't want one? A verification referendum just to check the 52% still feel the same?

Now I would happily vote on hard or soft

And vote soft over the next 5 years.

We are leaving. There is no need for us to be pricks about it and destroy friendships. We just don't get it the whole EU expansion ideology and are not ready for the next step the EU wants. It happens

So as long as there is a hole in my arse I will support anyone who tries to reverse this nonsense. 52-48 is not even close to an acceptable margin to fuck up the 48.

There is and never will be common ground. EVER.

Ultimately we are too far down the line now to do that - whatever your view/way you voted is irrelevant

If we try to go back in we will have no influence or credibility & will be ignored (as we were before to an extent as the EU had a chance to negotiate to alleviate the issues elements in the UK felt they had & decided not to offer any relief) - go out on a no deal brexit & everyone loses (IMF advice today indicates that the mainland rest of the EU would suffer a bigger fall in trade than we would, though not that that has any real benefit to us either)

The fact that we have had idiots negotiating (goes for both sides) has caused much of the problem -

And there you have , in a nutshell, showed why the EU and the govt are where they are. They both are being the same as you.

Until that changes this country is fucked. It may be my fault that it started to be fucked but the attitude you have stated shows why history will show those in entrenched positions on both sides as equally responsible for the UKs demise. And believe me if it doesn't change it will hap pen

Why should the EU not have an entrenched view when they hold a Royal Flush and we have a pair of two's? I want the best Brexit for this country as possible, I take no pleasure from this shitshow. It's the predictability and your apparent surprise about this I struggle with.

As for the point you made earlier, you aren't the only Brexit voting person left on the forum, there are at least 3 other regular posters who I think also probably did.

I see no debate. I see someone with the slimmest majority telling those that are on the other side to suffer and get on with it. The same someone who moans about first past the post getting 33% winning an election, but wants 48% to pipe down.

Like I say, NEVER.

Guess what. Croatia won. Maradona cheated pearce Waddle and Southgate missed. I get it. You feel fucked over. I felt that when Kinnock lost. You can't change it now. It will happen. I want it to happen in the best possible way.

I don't want the 48% to pipe down. I want their view to be considered in a soft brexit. A subtle but significant difference. Finally pr is a bit difficult in a two choice vote. It is by definition the only time where first past the post can always be the majority

Brexit is going to be an absolute disaster.
Firstly because people like me were given a really poor two choice vote
Secondly because we won
Thirdly because those then charged with executing brexit were useless on both sides
And finally because people with entrenched views like you refused to try.

Sorry if you are upset at my not wanting to try at you lot fucking the country up for your own selfish cuntish reasons. I will never forgive this so why the fucking hell should I try?

1) It isn't a question of winning and losing. We all lose.

2) Any time "Remoaners" (back in the real world, rather than on forums) have tried to help, they've been batted back with a gammon breathed bellow of "PROJECT FEAR"

3) You knew this would be a disaster and you still voted for it

4) What on earth do you think was specifically the EU's fault rather than domestic Government's up to 2016?
