I live in the most Tory area you can in the West Midlands but I don't associate with anyone round here. I'm not one for popping next door for a cup of sugar.

I suppose what I'd say is that I'm 37 now, I know people from all over the country from all kinds of backgrounds, many different nuances of political thinking...and yet I still don't know many right wing people. Where do they all hang out? Not that I'm in a desperate rush to meet them, but I find it odd that we've spent the whole of this decade in thrall to hard-right economics and hard-right European policy, but I don't know any of these people. I don't exactly live in an ivory tower.

I'd possibly see a migrant economy. But I've already seen that, I spent a summer living with my ex in Spalding. And that's proper Brexit territory.

I don't get why people readily accept austerity and the likes of Cameron and May as leaders, it's ludicrous.

So you know why. Every third person in Spalding speaks eastern european. Every 3rd shop is a polish deli or similar. Every other shop is a charity shop. Unemployment is higher than the national average. House prices are not keeping pace with neighbouring villages in cambsand Lincolnshire. And you are looking at the UKIP capital of the uk.

Well there are a significant number of Polish shops in Wolvo. And a Polish Church. And I work in a place with an 80% Polish workforce. Someone posted something on the Mix yesterday (almost a little exaggerated but it makes the point) that on a non-matchday the most common shirt you would see in Whitmore Reans would be Legia Warsaw.

Doesn't make Wolvo Brexit central. So do me a favour and stop blaming the Poles. I have a lot of Polish workmates who I class as good friends.

It should be a cross party group that comes up with a deal and a free vote across the commons when one is agreed with the EU.
