When you have a leader who is backed by people who are set to make billions of £ from a No Deal then there is no chance. Also have to take into consideration that a lot of people want us to leave. So, this is the same document that was "leaked" a while ago. At the time, the government advised the leaked document had been super-ceded by another, more up to date, and more realistic assessment. They decried the whole document as worthless.

Now, they are saying that this is the governments planning manual.

Surely they have to be lying at some point, either back then, or now. Unless they have lied on both occasions. It is weird how cabinet members devalued the merits and significance of this document not long ago, and yet now it is valuable, and government policy.

It seems to me that 1 word has been changed in the entire document.

People legitimately are going to die if medicines that they need to stay alive can't get into the country. This isn't a hypothetical. They'd probably die in Bulgaria if all the medicines were trapped at the border too.

Looking at it from the outside, and with the rather inflammatory 'fuck Bulgarians' comments above, I can see why a self-inflicted problem like this might be rather annoying.

That's fairly obvious. Most come in via Calais and some have a short shelf life. We already have shortages due to stockpiling (see above from me, Kenny and Paddy IIRC)
