REFERENDUM RESULTS AND DISCUSSION THREAD

Just picked up some € for Thursday. Exchange rate joy on that.

I found a €20 note tucked away in my wallet the other day that must have been left over from our holiday in May, was a bit miffed at first but the way things are going that could be my ticket out of the Brexit apocalypse.

Got to get some Singapore Dollar but have no clue if that exchange rate is good or not
In a word...no

Any reason you believe an unknown government source over one of Johnson’s cronies?

Whoa, hold on. You're the one who said it was worst case scenario like it was some kind of fact. I was just showing you what the Government itself had said.

I don’t believe either to be honest, the truth will be somewhere in the middle.

See, you're probably right here but that's different to 'worst case scenario' isn't it?

I think we need to be careful believing anything the Government says when it's openly contradicting itself Orwellian-style.

I've got $500 in a draw at home too. I might well be able to pay off the mortgage if it really goes to shit.

The sickening bit is them having these predictions and going full throtle towards them.

Luton council telling residents to stockpile six weeks of non perishable foods, Hastings council warning its residents there could be rationing, lots of councils saying school dinners could be stopped because of lack of available foodstuffs and price rises so they won't be able to fund them, and looking as though free movement for EU citizens into the UK will cease on November 1st, all this reported on the BBC website earlier

Boris - I will write them a four page strongly worded letter and they will cave

EU - yeah, right...

It was Johnson all over.

Sloppily written (he isn't half as clever as he thinks he is), riddled with brazen inaccuracies, anything he/we have to offer being laughably vague and the hand of Cummings is there with insidious buzzwords and phrases. All that was missing for the full Boris Bingo was some Latin egregiously shoehorned in somewhere.

He's a fraud. A total fraud.

But why would he back someone like Ken Clarke who wants to remain in the EU?

Ken Clarke has said he would accept a soft Brexit, though he'd prefer to Remain. Reality is Corbyn won't want to back anyone else as he's happy sitting on the fence.

Most of his latin is rubbish. I would have put money on him shoehorning Res Ipsa Loquitur in but even I am struggling to see how he could really make it fit.

To be fair, we could definitely use res ipsa loquitur back at him, the fucking blond buffoon.

Agree with this. His bluff was called and he hasn't got the balls to front up and say something credible. It's the same old story he's been peddling for the last 2 years.

It's embarrassing.
