REFERENDUM RESULTS AND DISCUSSION THREAD

I'm glad that while I am angry and disgusted with the vote to leave that somebody can sit at their keyboard in Spain and think that it is all a big joke. You keep typing the same things over and over mate so you can wind a few people up and get a bit of attention while I'll concentrate on trying to voice my disgust at what is happening to my country.

Not true, we have an elected government, that supported the remain campaign. They are trying to drag their feet, so the leave camp get the blame. At the moment the remain camps are doing a diservice to the UK. Stop running your country down. The bullying coming out of Germany and France, should make you see, what cunts the EU are. Stop supporting people who are attacking our country's interests. It's a fucking disgrace.

Why should people who wanted to remain the EU have to draw up a plan on the hoof for what happens now other people who wanted us to leave have 'won'? Why didn't the latter camp have anything at all prepared?

I'll run down who I want, thanks.

That is bollocks. The peolpe that were winding up isn't me.

Becuse they are the elected goverment. The leave camp aren't.

Yes but be prepared for people to get sick of people running the UK and supporting the bullying of the UK by the EU.

I have read it, I just don't see why you reckon it's speculation.

For example there's a direct quote from the National Federation of Fishermen’s Organisations.

“Unfortunately, perhaps, the UK’s geopolitical position means that it is not politically or legally possible just to ringfence most of our fish resources, in the way that, for example, Iceland can. The reality is that most of our stocks are shared with other countries to some degree or other.

“We can certainly seek to renegotiate quota shares, as well as access arrangements, but it is realistic to expect that there will be a price. Who will pay that price is a critical question.”

What is speculative about that?

There was no preparation because the Civil Service were ordered not to do any by the Government, whom they serve.

So if you have a problem with the fact there was no plan or preparations, like me, then you need to put the blame where it belongs, on this now leaderless Government.

That's irrelevant. I'm not employed by the FA but that didn't stop me giving chapter and verse last night on where England went wrong in this tournament and where I feel we're heading now. What was stopping the Leave camp drawing up fully costed plans, timetables for withdrawal, defined plans of action, you don't need to be in government to do that. It should be expected of people who are proposing that we fundamentally change the shape of our country for good. Winging it isn't acceptable.

You've just taken a big $#@! in their garden.

What the $#@! were you expecting?

To have some bollocks, working class people have been shit on for 40 years. We have spoken, you have lost in a democratic referendum. You knew the rules and you lost. Things will take time. It's a fucking disgrace how people are running their own country down in favour of the German bullies.

Can somebody please explain how the British are being bullied?

Ask cameron to go now then and let them have a new Tory leadership vote. At the moment leave have no power to implement anything.

Is that first bit true? If so it's quite shocking.

In any case, as far as I'm concerned blame lies squarely at the feet of David Cameron. He delivered the referendum and should have planned sufficiently for each eventuality. It wouldn't have been difficult to come out after the leave vote and say, OK, we lost but we know now what needs to be done and we have a roadmap to get us there.

Good job the people at the Bank of England have their heads screwed on properly. Friday morning was it when they let everybody know that contingencies were in place for leave?

Sorry but this is just noise.
