The EU have investigated and suspect there is a real possibility of referendums in scotland and also NI if brexit goes through. They also suspect social cohesion is at risk with violence on the streets being possible.

project fear?

Is major food suppliers and supermarkets planning meeting the government to advise they will not be able to stock their shelves also project fear?

Oh dear.

Mark Francois on BBC just now accused Airbus's Tom Enders of "Teutonic arrogance", adding: "My father, Reginald Francois, was a D-Day veteran. He never submitted to bullying by any German. Neither will his son. So if Mr Enders is watching, that's what he can do with his letter"

Edit - This is a couple of days old.

At least your post is only a few days out of date, most Brexiters want to take us back 75 years!

Yawn, but as I am on ignore its just a token response so you are seen as not getting away with a boring snipe

Johnny does have a point though. The WWII references sort of back him up.

I was watching Question Time last Thursday and sadly T-Dan, Cyber's response highlights the type of response that is typical of Brexitman. Along with 'Project fear' and 'taking back control' it's now just a series of soundbite responses without any substance behind them and any points that are made to Brexiters are instantly dismissed with any of those preordained responses. The one that seems to be gathering most ground is 'it's the EU's fault for not giving us a deal'.

It's a struggle to debate with people who are so dogmatic in what is essentially a belief system.

The irony is how far my stance has changed in the last three years yet people choose not to see it. I was often trying to put my side on here and much of what you feared would happen , has. I completely concede that its a bigger mess than I thought it would be, but constantly highlighting a number of myopic mindless brexiters who clearly have an agenda far to the right of where I have ever been and lumping all people who voted brexit into a bracket that they are racist, over 65 , mindless or all three quite frankly is boring.
So I invite you once again to detail your options for progress. Mine I will gladly remind you were around

1. Extend article 50. Its a must
2. No hard border. Its a must
3 continued part of a customs union by default.

My preference has been for a soft brexit. It remains that. Baby and bath water. It will mean give and take with the EU.

Yours?

The one that seems to be gathering most ground is 'it's the EU's fault for not giving us a deal'.

This is probably closely followed by 'it's the remoaners fault for not getting behind Brexit/wanting Brexit to fail'. I've seen plenty of tossers post drivel along those lines on twitter.

Man with massive red nose on 6 o'clock news saying it'll do us good to go without. You'll be dead without your medicine mate.

Stand down. Massive red nose twat will be fine

How the fuck did we get to a place where this is acceptable.

Or they could prioritise both by pulling the plug on Brexit...

Supermarkets predicting shortage of food when the apocalypse happens.
God forbid they won't have anything to fucking bin at the end of the day.

So Plan B is Plan A with the hope that the EU will renegotiate the backstop.

All those cross party talks were well worth it then!

It will just take a resounding no from the EU and we will be back into Vote of No Confidence territory.

Irish growth set to drop by 4% under no-deal conditions. That will be the loss of a few thousand jobs then. And talk of soldiers and border checks returning to the border is looking more likely as there's less than 60 days to go and those clueless fucking windbags in Westminster clearly havent got a clue how they are going to agree on anything so it looks like Britain is going to crash out with no deal.

What a bunch of utter fucking cunts the Tories are. Responsible for soooo much misery already and about to heap more on communities and lives that haven't done anything wrong. It makes me really angry. Not only have they destroyed Britain, but they are fucking it up for other countries too.
