REFERENDUM RESULTS AND DISCUSSION THREAD

He would love to just get out from a personal point of view but that would fuck him up politically. It's the reverse of May who campaigned for remain and voted remain but now must act like a fucking idiot to keep cunts like Rees-Mogg from destroying her.

If there are any villains of the piece (bar the imbecile Cameron for agreeing to a referendum in the first place) then Rees-Mogg is the chief candidate. Especially with his champagne reception to celebrate the defeat of the May deal (which was a good thing but not for the reasons he thinks it is). This odious stain on British politics needs eradicating. Unfortunately we don't have Daz. We have Jez.

Rees-Mogg is just a cartoon character.

Dominic Cummings, Daniel Hannan, Arron Banks (plus whoever was funding him), Paul Dacre, Gisela Stuart, Kate Hoey, Michael Gove, Boris Johnson and Nigel Farage have more of a shout of being the chief villains. Other than Cameron and May of course who are just fairly dim and more than fairly awful.

Actually I don't know who I hate most off that list. Probably Banks or Dacre, both pindicked bullies and outright racist fucks.

Good list, and well-considered.

If I can't put Rees-Mogg at the top of the list for the reasons you have outlined in such a lucid fashion I will go for

DACRE, JOHNSON, DAVID DAVIS. I include Davis for that pathetic stint as Brexit secretary where he basically put everything he could in place to try and fuck a deal up, so that his desire of a no deal disorganised disaster could ensue. Cuntish. Mind you, the utter buffoon who allowed him to be put into the position to do the damage is not free from opprobrium either - that one is on you, T-Bag.

Don't forget Murdoch. Shame there isn't a hell as him and Dacre deserve everlasting sodomy with a hot poker.

Why I am now sitting there with images of the baby-eating bishop of Bath and Wells...

"Bend Over Rupert - it's poker-time!"

I love that episode.

It's so perfectly framed I think, which is rather ironic as that's exactly what has happened to you

May offers talks, Corbyn says, "Remove No Deal threat and then we'll talk". Within an hour Hammond has phoned 330 buisness people and promises to remove No Deal threat because May faces a Cabinet revolt, but Corbyn is the wrecker. More Tory lies.

Gotta be project fear. I mean how would pharmacists know anything about medication supplies? Enemies of the people I tells ya.

Well, it's project fear that's caused it. If people hadn't tried to scaremonger then people wouldn't be stock piling. Reminds me of the shelves at Supermarkets when the Express threatens a bit of snow...

True that. Equally, good to see some entrepreneurs taking steps to sell "brexit boxes"!

In other news, boris is now making claims he never made any detrimental comments regarding Turkey. This is demonstrably untrue. I'm not sure the cunt knows how to tell the truth.

They hate Boris in Turkey anyway, his grandfather or great grandfather was among those responsible for killing ataturk the founder of modern turkey

Not quite... Ataturk died of Cirrhosis of the liver in 1938.

Johnson's paternal grandfather was Ali Kemal Bey who was an Ottoman journalist, newspaper editor, poet and politician. He condemned the attacks on and massacres of the empire's Armenians during the First World War and campaigned against the Ittihadist chieftains who committed those crimes.

He was kidnapped from a barber shop at Tokatliyan Hotel in Istanbul, and was carried to the Asiatic side of the city by a motor boat en route to Ankara for a trial on charges of treason. On 6 November 1922, the party was intercepted at İzmit by General Nureddin Pasha, then the Commander of the First Army, which was aligned with Mustafa Kemal Pasha. (Kemal supported Ahmet Tevfik Pasha)... Kemal was attacked and lynched by a mob set up by Nureddin with sticks, stones and knives, and hanged from a tree.

This is from the Independent’s Tom Peck.

@tompeck
To be fair to the guy, he did always say he was going to "lie in front of a bulldozer."

And now he has, for forty straight minutes.

:ursofunny:

This aged well.

This is why we have come out with next to nothing. Our clown trousered cunt of a PM and her chosen representatives behaved like this, repeatedly. Of course Brexiters choose to forget this and think that it's the evil EU who are the bully boys.

A bit different to lying on the side of a bus I suppose.
