It's difficult to see why the European's aren't predisposed to be generous to the party with the significantly weaker hand

Theresa. Don't start a pissing contest with the EU when you don't have a penis ffs! It won't end well!

Women can't piss??????

Maybe I don't understand the rules and etiquette of a good old fashioned pissing contest....

Could agree more, Tom.

I was at a meeting in Dublin last week of all the managers from our companies round the world. Only one thing they wanted to talk to me about - Brexit. And without exception, they think we're bonkers. They literally cannot understand that we're choosing to do this to ourselves. The Europeans are particularly upset about it, especially the Irish guys. For all Britain's dodgy history, there's still genuine affection for the country amongst Europeans, possibly stemming from the war, and they feel personally hurt that we no longer want to be their friends.

yeah you don't

Firstly its about the size of your "armoury"- ladies tend to lack in that area in my experience.
Secondly because of the size of the armoury you get a certain length of jet.
So the pissing contest is how far and wide you can piss. Ultimately very much in ANY mans favour. Some women can and have taken part.

Well we have a new front runner in the oddest post on the internet competition

Hope you don't have any gifs in this case cyber

Don't normally do Brexit discussion as people seem to be too extreme in their views but I can genuinely say for the first time I feel a bit nervous. I have been trading across Europe for years now (and a small amount outside) and from the beginning after the vote I felt confident we would reach an agreement and all would be well, all of a sudden that confidence is fading. Don't get me wrong I am not a massive fan of the EU and I don't think the decision to leave is bonkers at all but leaving with no deal is batshit mental and something that is causing me quite some worry.

I know most of you lot are pretty far to the left, as a centrist I was easy going with either result (I fully expected remain by the way) but the aftermath has really been quite unpleasant from both sides of the argument.

I now work for a company in Italy, they are fine with Brexit and from a significant amount of people I speak to there I think they will follow suit in the next few years.

But my worry I suppose and reason for posting is that I see we have a Canada+ style deal on the table, which seems fair enough to me but TM won't even consider it due to the Irish border issue. Surely this is something they can resolve???

That element would be a lot easier (far from simple, but less of an unresolvable issue) to sort out if her Government weren't propped up by climate change denying, creationism preaching Northern Irish loyalists.

Isn't that Boris's idea that the EU have already poured cold water all over, as they have with Chequers and every other suggestion the Tories have come up with, because they're all looking to secure access to the benefits of the single market without any of the obligations.

If we wanted to be in the single market, why did we leave?

And for what it's worth, I don't think this is left/right issue, either on here or in the wider country. Some of the most vociferous Remain voices on here are from the more right leaning posters. And Corbyn for one has always been keen to leave the EU.

Tusk has tweeted today that the Canada style deal remains on the table for us so im scratching my head a little bit. As for Corbyn hes not your normal Labour candidate/leader he has some very strange views and whilst his introduction in the beginning was very healthy for politics in general I don't believe he can take the party any further and should step aside.

Perhaps I am wrong about the left/right thing then politics seems so muddled at the moment.

I would say I'm pro-remain and I doubt many on here would class me as anything but right (although in truth I'm centrist you trotski bastards).

I think of myself as a centrist, but view Jonny as a right wing Thatcherite [emoji1745]
