REFERENDUM RESULTS AND DISCUSSION THREAD

I have seen reference to that incident but have no viewing of it as yet. Vile snake that Rees-Mogg is, that does not make abusing his kids fair game. Not at all.

Another sign that the polarised views on both sides are going to get more repugnant to each other, and I doubt it will be the last incident of its kind. Brexit makes me die a little more inside every day. Whether you are pro or anti, we are all the same population and I fear the rifts from this will take generations to heal.

Family should be off limits.

That Bone guy. Is it the old guy that gives any cause he fights for a step backwards whenever he opens his mouth?

Rees mogg is really decent with people who abuse him - debated a bunch of students who abused him and tried to get into a fight with him a year ago, always tries to be polite and reasonable.

Saw the video of the bone guy on Facebook - what an absolute arsehole.

I really don’t envy politicians with the shit they have to put up with.

Rees-Mogg is a disgrace and he PERSONALLY deserves all the abuse that can be mustered. His family is quite the different matter. They are innocent in this and they have got the stick from an imbecile. And to be fair to JRM (much as it pains me) he has given an entirely measured response and looks the better man from the incident.

Sentiments potentially accurate. Delivery disgraceful and utterly unhelpful to those that would like to see the cause Rees-Mogg stands for stymied.

It’s just cowardly, the guy knows exactly what he’s doing. Not using any abusive language or threatening behaviour but saying things to young children that’s pretty horrible. He also knows Reece Mogg can’t do anything to retaliate.

Government releasing new set of papers detailing the following
Mobile phone roaming charges could rise
UK Driving licences may not be valid in Europe
Passports with less than six months validity left on them'the holders may be refused entry into EU countries
Bad news if you're driving across Europe with a barely valid passport and have to phone up to sort it all out

TO be fair most of those are pretty inconsequential compared to other issues like no food, medicine or jobs.

Just having a quick peruse of the govt's No Deal Brexit plans.

If you bought into the idea of leaving for reasons of reducing red tape and bureaucracy, I'd seriously consider asking for your money back.

It'll be good old British Red white and blue tape, traitor

Had the official letter from HMRC today stating we are leaving the EU at 11PM on 29th March 2019.

In the letter it says that 'the UK government has reached full agreement with the EU on the vast majority of withdrawal issues....during the implementation period'. There is no mention of what a deal will look like with dealing with the EU other than what happens if there is no deal.

If there is no deal then the UK will be treating the EU the same as dealing with non-EU countries. On the face of this this wouldn't seem that bad until you get to the bit where you see the time this will cost importing/ exporting into the EU. UK businesses will have to apply customs, excise and VAT procedures to good traded to the EU (and vice versa). The time taken, costs for brokerage and delays occurring because of this will have a cost to every business. And as Gordon Gecko says, 'time is money'.

Not only that, another letter arrived from Santander also preparing customers for potential cost increases for sending/ receiving money into EU countries. Again this will cost businesses money.

In the event of no deal (which looks likely to me) then a lot of UK exports are just going to stop simply due to cash flow, extra cost and extra red tape.

To all of those voting Brexit thinking this will improve the economy, you're wrong and HMRC are already preparing for the shit show that you selfish cunts have voted for. I hope you're happy.

Yeah, but we're taking back control. The rest of the world will want to trade with us straightaway. We will have blue passports and less non English people claiming our benefits and using our schools and health service and talking gibberish on our public transport. Plus all the money we used to pay the EU will now go to the NHS.

If there's one thing I can't stand then it's public transport gibberish.
