Which is what? This vote shows a lot of people for what they are I'm afraid.

That has always been the case though hasn't it?Not necessarily on here, but small minded, bigoted and ignorant of others, ironically.

The attitude of a good proportion of leavers post win has been a disgrace too - and definitely there have been a number of racists incidents. Calling out for people to 'go home' should never be acceptable. Voltaire's famous quote has never been more apt than now.
Calling each side out for bigots etc helps no one, crowing and demeaning the views of the losers by winners looks as equally poor as the losers moaning. The country is very divided, the margin of victory shows that.
Let's all have a little respect, move on and make the most of what could be a bad few years. Fishing comments and denigrating each other need to be put to one side.
Wasn't the original wording from the petition from Nigel Farage? That if only x% vote and margin is only y% then it's not valid?Starting a petition demanding another referendum because you didn't get the result you wanted...What was the point of the original?
I wasn't happy when the Conservatives won by almost a landslide in the last election but, hey-ho, that's elections

Obviously I cant say if everyone who voted thought the 350m pledge was a lie or not.
I do think those who make the claims should be held accountable if they turn out to be straight out lies. How to do that, no idea.
There were no exit polls so we have no idea of the age profile of voters, but I'd be interested to see where you got that 31% from? All indicators said around 60% for u25sIt's subscription, but if the headline reflect the story, is it the 31% of the youth that are complaining or the 69% that didn't vote?
The only thing we have is the YouGov final poll I posted at the start of the thread.I've read it in a few places. I've also read it as low as 25%.
If we have no age profile then how are the young blaming the old and why are we getting graphs of which age group voted where?
