REFERENDUM RESULTS AND DISCUSSION THREAD

France looked fine to me when I was there last week. Perhaps I should look out for the 'fucked' part next time.

52% to 48% is YOU LOST, THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN, GET OVER IT.

But 66% to 34% is a nation divided?

And you wonder why people treat you with disdain.

I never lost in France! I am pointing out that Macron was the only option as France is Fucked. I put the link up as an informative break down of the ages and areas where the leaders voters live.
You really need to stop talking for the whole nation when you say that people treat me with disdain and while you are at it, it is about time you come to terms with that we are leaving the EU and grow up.

Now *that's* irony, folks!

Let's be honest 52 v 48 is so close. But the 52 won the day so brexit is happening. When it does the shit and the fan will meet for a short while , then we can start to be the independent UK

But that means treading on the feelings of 16 million voters.

I don't want a single note of what Brexit is supposed to be, so if you don't mind I will keep hoping the whole thing collapses so we go back tail between legs.

There's undercurrents in every country, particularly in countries where you have a massive disparity in earnings.

So what about the eu where the average wage can be up to90% different between the top and bottom countries per montb?

Not happening Mate sorry

You're not leaving the EU though are you? You fucking live in it.

No I am not. I am saying France is so fucked, that it was the choice between a fascist and an unknown with almost no political experience. The main parties are so discredited that it came to this. This is not a new dawn for France, just a realisation that it is Fucked.

2 weeks ago you said he was part of the establishment and big money was backing him, now he's an unknown with almost no political experience.

France is not fucked, a realisation of France being fucked would have been Le Pen winning.

France is not $#@!ed, a realisation of France being $#@!ed would have been Le Pen winning.

Le pen MAY have given Britain a better brexit! Macron may give a better stability. Frances gain may be a short term loss for us but we can endure it. We will be in a better position than France in a decade. I believe that.

We were in a better position than France 12 months ago

Who gives a shit about that?

I'm sorry but if your utopia needs Marine Le Pen in power in France then you can stick it.

Oh I agree. I would sooner be in the EU without le pen but the timeline didn't allow that did it. We had already correctly voted brexit. So whilst Macron may be harder in the short term, France have lots of internal issues to deal with over the next few years. Macron is irrelevant to brexit. Hence why he should worry about France first, EU and brexit second.

Macron on brexit - the last sentence nails it

The establishment of course wanted him to win against Le Pen and he doesn't have much political experience.

If France wasn't in shit Street, why were the 2 finalists an extreme right wing party and an unexperienced politician? Could it be that France are sick of failure and corruption?
A big proportion of Macron voters and not global capitalists and don't want to have more private money going in to the public sector. They also don't want trade unions to lose more rights and a more flexible workforce, they just didn't want to be governed by a far right leader.

Amazing yet again to see the socialist elite sucking up to global capatalism. You couldn't make it up.
