REFERENDUM RESULTS AND DISCUSSION THREAD

Then why arent the so called opposition parties fighting under a united banner? Its brainless politics isnt it? The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Accept that a coalition brings more stability. It brings checks and balances. And call out the tories " coalition of chaos" theory.Even if it fails it will ensure some tactical voting and hopefully deny her an increased majority.

Because Brexit isn't the only issue.

Because Brexit isn't the only issue.

According to many on this site brexit and the NHS are the top issues so forgive my query. Additionally they are, again according to polls and this forum, both issues which today have more than 50% of the population attacking the current government stance. So if you don't like the stance taken by May and her cronies vote tactically. If the parties were big enough to admit what they have to do to succeed then it would have been quite a different election. They aren't, they won't so its brainless.

PM: "If we let the bureaucrats of Brussels run over us we will lose the chance to build a fairer society with real opportunity for all"

May plays game with UK's economic relationship with EU to get votes. Shocking.

Wrong and unstable.

I personally felt that gaining sovereignty from EU (which I regard as a Fascist Corporate club) may benefit us because there would be real change and empowerment. Even allowing for Abbott and Thornberry I felt Corbyn would go for the jugular. Instead he is bribing the public sector and increasing tax on companies (under the guise of being anti-corporate) when he actually isn't because he cannot differentiate between a successful company and the global monopolies/cartels.

Juncker claiming that the English language is losing it's importance. I assume he's forgetting the $1 trillion trade with the US.

Tbf he was talking about its use within the EU as the common language.

He was also talking shite.

Well yes. English is and always will be the language of the skies for a start. All communications have to be in English and all pilots and air traffic controllers have to speak very good English.

He was talking French, to interfere in the French democratic process.
I detest the cunt, but more mind baffling for me, is how some UK citizens wanted to be ruled by him and his cronies.

Not that shit again FFS.

It isn't about being ruled by him for God's sake. It is being part of a bloc for mutual benefits that IN MY OPINION outweigh the negatives of it.

Ruling and sovereignty is a complete fucking red herring

You might as well tell your amp Paddy, it would have more chance of sinking in.

Macron wins the French presidency I see. It will be interesting to see the political mix of the government. I read that Macron dispensed with the French anthem and had the Europe song played instead during his 'victory speech'.

Haha indeed

Good to see the anti-EU candidate get absolutely fucking hosed. Just like Wilders did.
