More unsubstantiated shite from the forum's very own Spanish ring piece.

Now if you don't mind I'm off to learn German, find a shit load of statistics I can't back up and prepare for my hanging at traitors gate for not having the same opinion as a stupid xenophobic olive fucker on a tractor.

You know if I reply with any insult it will be me who gets banned. That is why you do it.

When you moving to the EU free state of Gibraltar then, because that's the closest place for you to move away from your hated EU? Or are you not going to bother, because in spite of all the posturing,I think you're happy to live in Europe, and take all of its many benefits that it gives you

Many benefits? You are having a laugh. You should try living on the continent and watch how EU billions get wasted on projects that don't benefit it's citizens.

The EU is trying to crush it's various cultures and identities for an idealistic utopia. It was doomed for failure. It was always a matter of time before it's citizens said enough is enough.
The EU want to punish the UK for daring to want to leave the EU sect. They want to treat us like apostates, to frighten other nations from leaving. You support them punishing us and believe they have a right to, I support the UK, her sovereignty and it's proud culture. I also support all EU countries individual cultures

So they should punish us for leaving,it's going to be an almighty cock up,we are going to walk away with nothing, but according to the prime minister that'll be a good deal,I'll admit the EU isn't great, but a Britain on its own run by the Tory party is a horrifying thought, they'll be able to do what they want with no checks or balances,so goodbye workers rights, minimum wage, living wage, affordable housing, free health care, decent education and many other things, the quicker I can get on my bike(literally) and ride eastwards the better, even though wherever I end up may not be any better

It's a deluded stance, if true, the paper reporting it is decidedly pro EU and this may well be the ramping up of the propaganda war.

It shows what an absolute bunch of cardboard bellends we have leading the negotiations though, and that applies to both sides.

May hasn't got a clue. She's not very bright and works everything as some kind of shitty little power game. It won't work.

But but but but we can vote them out if we're not happy with them!!!111!! Yeah, when the damage has been done, great.

Interesting that Juncker has laughed off that current EU citizen won't gave their futures sorted by June...

Seems it is a more complex issue than has been painted. As well as the access to health care issue that has been mentioned there is also eligibility to benefits, what happens if someone loss their job or leaves the UK while not in work, status of family members and presumably a list of other issues that don't exist now due to free movement. All these issues could have been resolved by now if, last June, this government had given a commitment to EU nationals currently in the UK rather than putting them in a box called "to be negotiated".

It is becoming increasingly clear why May called the election. She is not going to get the behind closed doors negotiations she wanted. Everything is going to be leaked one way or another and the only way to have "strong and stable" government will be to ram things through parliament without fear of opposition or rebellion.

Huge risk for her if she doesn't get a big majority. Huge risk for the country if she does.

I'm not sure why it should be complex. Set a date and anyone in the U.K. prior to that gets the same rights as now.

You would need to set up a whole load of new systems to identify those who pre-date the cut off point, systems we don't currently have in place. Similarly, every other EU country will have to do the same.

Nothing stopping them applying for citizenship. The system is already there I believe. Then hold dual nationality. Keep your rights and be a british citizen and then you can more easily insist on language requirements etc. British jobs for british people? Easy fix?

You can apply for British citizenship by naturalisation if:

you’re 18 or over
you’re of good character, for example, you don’t have a serious or recent criminal record, and you haven’t tried to deceive the Home Office or been involved in immigration offences in the last 10 years
you’ll continue to live in the UK
you’ve met the knowledge of English and life in the UK requirements
you meet the residency requirement
And you must usually have:

lived in the UK for at least the 5 years before the date of your application
spent no more than 450 days outside the UK during those 5 years
spent no more than 90 days outside the UK in the last 12 months
had settlement (‘indefinite leave to remain’) in the UK for the last 12 months if you’re from outside the European Economic Area (EEA)
had permanent residence status for the last 12 months if you’re a citizen of an EEA country - you need to provide a permanent residence document
not broken any immigration laws while in the UK
There are different requirements if your spouse or civil partner is a British citizen.

Then why arent the so called opposition parties fighting under a united banner? Its brainless politics isnt it? The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Accept that a coalition brings more stability. It brings checks and balances. And call out the tories " coalition of chaos" theory.Even if it fails it will ensure some tactical voting and hopefully deny her an increased majority.
