Just because bad things happen in the EU does not make them because of the EU.

I burnt some toast earlier on, but I didn't blame it on Jean-Claude Juncker....

But that is the whole point about disparity. Spain and Italy are not eastern bloc but still have real abuse issues for migrant workers. Everyone is equal but some are more equal than others. The EU got to big too quickly in the name of prosperity when really it was greed and opportunity. That nasty little island full of little englanders saw it coming in the 90s, exercised veto's for schenghen and the euro and have now decided to take their bat and ball home as half the members are not playing properly. Bastards!

So disparity won't exist once we leave the EU? The low paid won't get exploited?

Why do you think these Italian farmers are employing Romanian agricultural workers instead of Italian workers? Who do you think collected the Italian fruit and vegetables before they chose Romanian workers? How will the Italian people who worked in agriculture before feed their families?

Why do you think the government hasn't reduced immigration in the last seven years, despite having the powers to do so?

Because they answer to the Corporates who need cheap labour to make them rich? The unemployable underclass in this country have already been discounted as 'unforcable'. They don't actually give a damn about this people who are completely written off as productive human beings.

And how will that change post Brexit?

Hopefully we'll have a government in the next few years that empowers everybody instead of creating conditions that favour the rich. The minimum wage is a good start. The EU was not a socially progressive movement it was a tool of the Corporates. We could hardly change that but we can the UK Parliament.

Is it because Italians think they should get far more than what their minimum wage is for just getting out of bed, where as Romanians are happy to work for their minimum wage?

Do you not think increasing minimum wage just means that inflation will increase and the net will be status quo?

So the Italians, Spanish and UK workers are lazy and don't want to get out of bed?
Strange how they were all good enough before we had the EU.

I don't know, I was asking you a question.

My opinion, as I've answered you before, when there are non seasonal jobs about people will take them over seasonal jobs.

You keep bringing this up. Do you want to force people into work?

I think it is more simple than that. It comes down to maximum profit for the landowners. Goverment subsidies, cheap labour with no concern for the local workers or community.

Do you really think loads of companies pay less than minimum wage, although you have to submit RTI, P60s and confirm NI details for new employees?
