REFERENDUM RESULTS AND DISCUSSION THREAD

I called you a bigot. I also asked you to not communicate with me. I have you on ignore. It is a shame that you are incapable of reciprication.

Thread locked. Again. Because some of you refuse to listen to a simple request.

Reopened by request as other threads are getting swamped by Brexshizzle.

Folks - PLEASE abide by the forum rules as we really don't like having to close this because some posters can't accept a polite request from the moderating team.

Let's make sure we don't have to close this again - thanks.

Why not deal with the offenders rather than closing the thread?

Theresa May says Parliament will get "every opportunity" for scrutiny and confirms there will be a White Paper.

Forgive me for not believing that she's grown a conscience in the last few weeks. You don't go from wanting to push it all through without any consultation whatsoever to having a fully open process where everything's on the table.

What if Parliament want to scrutinise leaving the single market? As they should.

Of course she hasn't. The complexities and ramifications of leaving the EU must stand up to scrutiny. Parliament had a duty to ensure that the best deal available is presented to prevent us being steamrolled into a deal that reflects party ideology.

So "clean" (ie hard) brexit would be best for Trump's US of A.

Well. That's me signed up then.

I should also point out THM that the United Kingdom never has been and never will be part of the Euro. So its projected failure is of scant relevance

The Euro fails, the EU fails.

If only it were that simplistic. And there wasn't a European Central Bank to prop the currency up.

I also liked the phrase that they will be there for us in our hour of need. Even the US think we're fucked and their President is reality TV star. We are now officially a charity case.

A trillion of debt, 4 million working people in poverty, obviously our time in the EU wasn't a success for many British people.
