REFERENDUM RESULTS AND DISCUSSION THREAD

If he was wrong how about you counter them with the "correct" answers and show the facts* to back up your belief they are true. That way the issue is debated and moves on.

Somehow I have a feeling you won't be able to do that

*facts do not mean post the insane ramblings from inside your head.

Did i pay an EU official? No. Have I ever said I did? No. Is it a lie to keep calling a fraudster or a liar, when it has been proven on this forum, by a moderator that I never said that I had paid an EU official? Yes.

So it is a bit hypocritical calling me a liar and s fraudster, when the poster knows he is inventing a story and lying .

I'm not complaining about him lying or insulting me, but you can't win an argument, or be congratulated for an excellent post, for lying, especially when every poster on this forum would know, that LJ was corrected about his lying about me paying lan EU official, earlier in the year, by Paddy.

So it wasnt a good post. It was a rant based on lies and of course he will get away with it on this forum.

like on the housing point. we've got enough land to build houses, we just haven't built enough. UK gvt policy could have resolved that. Maybe we have too many people working in London and the South East - what have UK governments done to encourage investment in declining areas that would discourage everyone upping up sticks to the South? again, that's a UK gvt policy. If anything the EU has invested in declining areas more than the UK. all the development that has transformed Birmingham City Centre for instance was done on the back of long term EU investment that UK gvt wouldn't provide.

it's a convenient con to blame the EU for most of these issues in order to win the brexit vote whilst providing no solutions, no proposed policy changes, and simply rely on a continuation of the same style of government to suddenly change its spots.

i do consider some degree of border control to have been a valid consideration for a brexit vote, but more because of the way that the world has changed in recent times, rather than as a nailed on point of principle. i think the EU would have had to address this in due course regardless of the brexit vote.

but the 'anti-establishment' stuff was, is and will always be bullshit.

Erm, it was the way he answered your points that was good. No one really gives a flying fuck about the shit you've typed above.

Over 46 years you buffoon.

During which time life expectancy in the UK has gone from 71 to 81. Somehow I think that has more of an impact on the size of the population than immigration does.

Of course, if some of those old buggers would have had the common decency to die, we'd probably be gloating 'ha ha - you lost!' back to THM.

Selfish coffin dodgers.

I think we need to ask the elderly to hurry up and get on with dying, while asking those who have more than two children to volunteer one of them for strangulation.

Its no good you liking the way he answered my points, if he repeats a lie that he has been already proven to have been made on several occasions.
Calling someone one a racist xenophobic is an easy get out. I am not, but that won't matter.

One line from a very long post that categorically took your argument to pieces. ONE LINE.

If you talk and act and think like a racist, saying that you're not one doesn't make it so.

Belated kudos to LJ for that Da Vinci-esque smackdown earlier. We all dream of making posts like that.

Okay, sorry, his post was rubbish. Better?

How was it wrong. Show me what parts he got wrong and why they are wrong. Ta.

Is saying that the UK isn't and can't cope with open borders, racist?
If we had the infrastructure in place and didn't ask the vulnerable, poor and low paid to suffer the cost and see their living standards drop, I wouldn't have a problem several hundred thousand people coming to the UK, every year. It has nothing to do with the colour of a persons skin, religion or gender. It is just that the UK hasn't built the necessary infrastructure and it is the poorest who are paying the price.

You cannot argue that this is not true. Infrastructure investment has been abysmal over the last 15 years. In real terms gentlemen like it or not it is still very very early days in a process noit due to end til 2019. There is a hell of a lot of water to pass under the bridge between now and then. Rather than continue to play keyboard tennis on here I will wait to see what emerges over time and through effective planning.
