On the balance of play, if it had been 4-1 Ajax couldn't complain.

Really impressed with the performance, I know it's a friendly but the movement and quick passing was a joy to behold.

Some experiments going on from Wolves.

Doherty had an excellent game and lots of chances were created from open play but none of them taken.

The colour of the strip may be gold, but it certainly isn't old-gold. Maybe it's new-gold?

Really Impressive stuff. Ajax were a huge test, they're so comfortable on the ball but we held our shape and came out on top.

Thought Goncalves was class when he came on.

Played well some impressive stuff, good passing and movement from both sides.

Really good game against a strong side. We could and should have won this several chances spurned but good chances created. I would prefer a focal point and I can't wait to see a front 3 with Jimenez in it.

Very impressed with Giles who looks a real prospect, but also some of the other youngsters looking good. MGW has definately been working on the physical side of his game and looked more comfortable than in previous outings in CM although I don't think he's ready for that spot in the premier league. Lovely cameo from Goncalves and a great move right at the end to set up Ashley Seal who just fell over.

Promising stuff.

Interesting that Neves took the pen. Do we think he's our nominated taker? We've certainly options.

Boly, Neves and Giles real standout performances. The rest of the side pretty good also. Goncalves off the bench looks a real prospect too. Encouraging performance. Jota could and probably should have had 2.

We change it around all the time. Neves, Bonatini, Cavaleiro, Jota and Costa all took one last season and it didn't seem like there was any pecking order (Coady too of course but we all know why that was).
