Pre-Season 2023/24

Last friendly, lop is certainly having a good look at what hes got

With regards to Fabio, the lads always had talent (can check previous convos I’ve always been an advocate that he has something), but literally nothing will mean he was worth signing at the stage we were for 35mil!

That being said, again only a very small sample size, but he’s definitely come on since he last played for us

Well I’ve been pleasantly surprised we’ve played some very good stuff, Lemina, Nunes, the standouts. Doubt many PL sides would give us this much time on the ball though but even still the quality is there.

This is the main frustration though for most, I think?

We have a talented manager, some very talented players, and with a couple of additions could be a real formidable outfit.
I’ve said I think we need to sign a CM and CB for cover. That doesn’t mean we’re going down and fosun is fire selling and asset stripping the club and everyone in the club are clueless and lop is going to walk.

That was great. Semedo, Gomes, Lemina, Nunes and Silva all very good. Neto looking more like old Neto. Sasa decent and even Hwang looked good. Exciting.

I forgot this was an early kickoff and only saw the last 20 mins. Good win.

Come on in, the water's great...

Oh, and the cookies, too.

Silva and Hwang both involved in goals but their general play was pretty poor.

Agree with you on Semedo, Gomes, Nunes and Lemina. Thought both Sarabia and Neto looked very dangerous.

Cunha busy with some great footwork. Looks very fit.

Dawson concerns me, he looks slow on the ball. I still have no idea why we didn't take the £35m for Kilman.

We were more effective 4-4-1-1 than 4-3-3.
