Pre-Season 2023/24

Kalajdzic we're going to have to be patient with. Still in recovery from his injury.

Fábio isn't as good as Cunha, is probably going to leave and has only just joined up with the squad.

The selection makes sense IMO. Apart from Hodge. Selecting Hodge is never sensible.
I'd absolutely play Toti over Kilman, today has underlined why. Someone who can jump, run and tackle might be handy.

Sorry I wasn't suggesting Fabio over Cunha, but Cunha in behind at least one of our crappy options at number 9 (no less of a waste than starting Hodge). Selection is ok, just not the shape I anticipate us starting the season in.

I think to get Cunha + Nunes in the team and playing to their strengths it probably needs to be 433. But you’d need wingers who run in behind (or play Cunha off the right)

Whilst I agree with the sentiment, Cunha is no good to us upfront as he spends so much time anywhere other than where you'd want your striker to be.

Wouldn't be so much of an issue if our widemen attacked the space but they don't.

So where do Celtic fans think they’d finish in the Premier League these days?

Massive club so they'd assume they'd be up there. In their current guise they'd finish in the bottom 3, possibly even rock bottom.

We’re giving the ball away cheaply time and again. It’s shocking even in a preseason friendly.

He's not really wrong about it being rubbish though. We aren't a very good side, we don't generally play decent football and we don't score many goals. Rely on grinding results out.

A bit OT...Can somebody explain to me why we always are limited by the FFP restrictions every year? Also, would like to see a bit of Sasa gametime..
