Celtic also start their season next weekend, so they should be ahead of us in match preparedness.
Where has anyone said that?I do love that people are writing us off as relegation fodder after 30 mins of a training exercise
Purely down to the way Lop has us set up. Nunes is the right sided midfielder and he's not tracking back, leaving Semedo completely isolated on any counter. Whereas Hodge is covering with Bueno on that side.He has been fucking shit at the back, every time they come down our right we are fucked. Ball inside standing watching
Certainly Semedo is more exposed if we continue with Nunes on the right of a midfield 3. I think Lop trusts Semedo with that role though as he's a decent one on one defender.Extremely worried about us at right back this season though
In the pre match interview.Where was that? (Sorry in advance if posted elsewhere and have missed it!)

Agreed. 4-2-3-1 suits the players we have much better IMO, with Neto-Cunha-Nunes/Sarabia behind a striker. We've got to start giving Sasa and Silva a go in that role.I don't think this formation works for us personally. Get Gomes and Lemina in a double pivot, Nunes or Cunha to join them depending on the type of game/scenario and a proper CF.
Kalajdzic we're going to have to be patient with. Still in recovery from his injury. The main thing I find odd is why we've set up with Cunha as a 9 when we have Silva and Sasa on the bench who he could play behind in a 4-4-1-1. It's a friendly, but I didn't anticipate us going into the season playing a 4-5-1/4-3-3 formation.
